Genesis: Chapters 12-50 (Part I)

Topic: Old Testament Passage: Genesis 12–50

Genesis answers two big questions: “How did God’s relationship with the world begin?” and “Where did the nation of Israel come from?”

This week we use both sessions to answer the second question, tracing the lives of the Patriarchs Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. Specifically, it’s the story of the promises God made to humankind — promises that God begins to carry out through the rest of the Bible.
